15 JAN 70Dear Mom and Dad,
Well, I'm sorry I haven't written for so long. We just got in off a 7 day search
and destroy mission, where it rained every day and most nights. We found lots of bunkers, but no dinks. We
are going out again for 3 or 4 days. I will be getting a job in the rear at Battalion TOC (Tactical
Operations Center), when I get back from R&R. My R&R is scheduled for the 25th of January.
I am still real busy, but doing just fine, so I'll say bye for now.
